Welcome to Marshool! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Marshool application ("the App") developed by Marshool Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you accept these Terms. If a child under 18 is using the App, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on their behalf.
2. Description of Service
Marshool is a free educational application designed for children aged 4+. The App provides:
- Math-based mini-games (Balloon Pop, Math Runner, Memory Match, Falling Objects, Quiz)
- A collectible card system with in-game currency (gold coins)
- Cosmetic customizations for the Marshool character
- Progress tracking across math operations
3. User Accounts
- The App can be used without creating an account (anonymous authentication)
- Users may optionally link a Google account or email address for profile recovery
- Each device supports multiple child profiles
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of any linked accounts
4. In-Game Currency and Items
- Gold coins are earned through gameplay and are entirely virtual
- There are no real-money purchases in the App
- Virtual items (cards, outfits) have no monetary value and cannot be traded, sold, or transferred outside the App
- We reserve the right to adjust in-game economies, item availability, or reward rates at any time
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Exploit bugs or glitches for unintended advantage
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including but not limited to games, characters, card artwork, designs, text, and code — is the property of Marshool Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
8. Availability and Updates
- We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- We may release updates that change features, fix bugs, or modify content
- We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or meet any specific educational outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marshool Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your profile data at any time from within the App, or request full account deletion by contacting us at marshoolmarshool@gmail.com.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
